It's Day 5 of 30 Days of Garland and I'm sharing something a little different. Simple circle garland printables are easy to make and I have a pattern that I am going to share just for you. If you have a printer you can easily just print off this PDF. If you have Adobe Illustrator, I have also included a pattern maker. It even has instructions built in to the file. I don't know if you are already amazing at Illustrator or not, but if not, it is really easy. I am no expert by any means, but I think if you pop in and check out the simple instructions you too can alter my pattern to match any colorway. If you guys really like this, I am happy to make more patterns like this for you to customize. Let me know in the comments if this is something you want or if you have a specific pattern you are looking for.
It's also Font Friday, which means that I highlight a favorite font. It's a throwback today because since we are on a garland kick, I wanted to share my all time favorte font for garland, BEBAS. I will print this out big for individual letters or just use it like I did today in a simple circle garland. This is an open PDF. Which means you can open it and change the letters around and everything. This also means that you need to have BEBAS downloaded to your computer first or you'll get the "we are substituting your font for something ugly" error message when you open it. Find this classic (and used everywhere) free font HERE. New at this and need a little help customizing it? Shoot me an email and I am happy to walk you though it (or switch it up quick for you). I just want you to have a fun time.
Download the totally customizable PDF printable "HOORAY" banner (also has a cool green and mint version)
Download the Dot Pattern Maker AI file here. psst...use the dots maker to change the dots in the PDF banner. AWESOME!
Let me know what you want to see next, or if you have questions. I learned how to make patterns from the pattern master Alma Loveland. I took this class and it changed my life.
It's Font Friday so be sure to check out my font loving friends:
