Free Printable Blue and White Cupcake Flags
Now that the holidays are over and everything is put away, I am loving the fresh and clean vibe of my home. I don't know about you, but every January I practice minimalism, enjoying less knick-knacks and more visual space. The same can be said for parties. Simple but gorgeous parties always feel fresh after the holiday madness where more is more and even more is even better. It feels great to step back and breathe simplicity into a celebration. A great cocktail, a good buffet, filled with vegetables, and simple but yummy cupcakes. All you need to mark it as a party is a garland or balloons (bright and monochromatic) and a touch of something fun, like these blue and white cupcake toppers. I have created a free printable set of flags for you to use this season. They look great with a soft, mostly white palette. These cupcake flags are a modern take on blue and white chinoiserie style and even pair well with pink and red for Valentine's Day; because every holiday can work with blue and white, right?
Making your own cupcake flags are quick and easy, and using free printables makes it fun and unique. Print out this file on your home printer or do like I do and take it to your local printer and have them print it out on matte smooth cardstock, for about a dollar a page you get great color saturation and a great quality print.
If you have never made a cupcake topper before, or if it has been a while, don't worry it is super easy. Cut out each individual flag. Use glue or double stick tape to glue around either a toothpick, swizzle or cake pop stick. Leave square or cut a notch out of the cupcake flag. Boom. The flags from this printable are so easy you will want to add a bit of flare to all of your parties. Nothing says party more than cupcake flags.
